The fourth expedition within the "Sacred Kazakhstan" project has been finished

In a month we have gathered materials about eight historic-cultural monuments of Kazakhstan.

We have visited such amazing places as: 

  • Abai and Shakarim Mausoleum complex; 

  • The mausoleum-museum of Mashkhur Zhusup Kopeev; 

  • Karasay and Agyntay Batyr Memorial Complex; 

  • “Bokey Ordasy” Historical complex; 

  • Underground mosque Beket-Ata; 

  • Arystan-Baba Mausoleum; 

  • Abdul-Aziz Baba Mausoleum; 

  • Korkyt-Ata Memorial complex.  

There have been thousands of kilometers of unsurfaced roads, lots of shootings in the heat and the cold, day and night.

This way, we have managed to obtain terabytes of laser scanning, texture and aerial photography data.

So, it is time to start processing the data. We will definitely share some backstage photos and videos in social network for you to fully appreciate the beauty of nature and the work of our expedition in Kazakhstan.
