Moscow International Oil and Gas Exhibition / MIOGE 2018
The following solutions for industrial enterprises will be presented at the stand:
- Training simulator for virtual reality headsets
The simulator is designed for training operating personnel. The workshop of the enterprise with all the equipment and controls is reproduced in virtual reality with absolute accuracy to every small detail. A trainee puts on a wireless virtual reality helmet; in a flash he or she is transferred into the workshop.
As there is no wire that ties the user to the computer, a trainee can move through the virtual workshop not only with the help of controller, but also walk around with his or her own feet. The simulator is aimed at developing necessary skills and reactions for regular and critical situations. With the help of a controller, a trainee can interact with virtual reality objects the same way he or she does in real life.

- Remote assistance with Microsoft HoloLens augmented reality headset
This solution provides a great help in case of any breakage or malfunction. This way, a firstline worker can put augmented reality headset on and look at the damaged equipment piece. Having established a video session, an experienced master, wherever he or she physically is, can see the broken device the way the worker does. An experienced engineer can give an operating worker some instructions using pointers, drawings, diagrams, or voice messages. Remote collaboration is an efficient way to solve problems and complete tasks together. Moreover, AR headsets provide hands-free video calling and image sharing experience.
