HTC Vive + TPCast = truly immersive virtual experience

Having extensive experience in developing software for virtual reality headsets, we have always noted that the wires, which connect them to control computers, impose great limitations on users. That is why we are really excited about the new product. So, our Lab immediately got the device and started testing.

When you attach TPCast to HTC Vive, you will get a convenient headset, which is both light and comfortable to be worn for a long time. How does the wireless system work? Tracking cameras (Beacon, Lighthouse) are placed at the height of 4 meters; they are also spread at the distance of 6 meters. This way, we get more than 30 square meters covered.

It is important to note that TPCast should be located in the direct accessibility of the helmet, for example on the ceiling. You’ll be free to walk around your play area without having to worry about becoming tangled.

Moreover, TPCast video transmits at 90GHz, <2ms latency and quality of up to 2K. The reinforced battery life time is up to 5 hours.
