Implementing cutting-edge visual solutions in theatre space

Within the framework of the "Theatre: professional development and training school" project our expert Igor Petrunin has given a speech on different visual solutions that could be implemented on stage.

In a two-hour conversation with theatre technical head managers we have discussed such issues of modern theatre as artistic ideas and the ways to implement them: from director’s conception to its technical implementation on stage.

We have examined:

- the ways to create content and work with directors;

- examples of different technical solutions. Moreover, we have reviewed current theatrical productions that use various multimedia solutions, taking into account such topics as quality, diversity, content originality, etc.;

- prospects for the development of multimedia technology in the near future.

The event brought together production managers, workshop employees, and technical directors from regional and Moscow theaters. All the participants were able to freely exchange their views, ask questions and clarify solutions to specific problems. We hope that it allowed the participants to expand and develop their skills and knowledge.
