Interactive kiosk instllation for the Taganka Theatre

United 3D Labs, commissioned by Polymedia system integrator, has developed content for interactive kiosks at the Taganka Theater.

Our main idea was to highlight theatre’s artistic identity and creativity. The logo of the Taganka Theater is a red rectangle. The rectangle in suprematism has become a scheme, an archetype, a prototype of all the plane images – both newly created and already existing ones. It is logical that in three-dimensional space such "pure" form is a cube; it is this form that best characterizes the determinism of space. In this perspective, the supermatist models or architectons (as Malevich call them) served as a basis. This way, on the interactive display screen we can see a composition of cubes that move perpendicular to the horizontal plane. Then, an architectonic tower or a "construct" with a pulsating red cube on the top starts to grow in the golden ratio to the display.

It should be also noted that almost all elements of this image are derived from various modifications of the golden ratio. To the right of the tower you can see such interactive buttons as "History", "Repertoire", "Troupe", "Excursion", so if you click there, you can further explore the sections you are interested in. Pay attention to the details: the design of "Audio performance" section, for instance, was inspired by the actress Maria Matveeva and her performance in “No years” play.
