Russian national award ProINTEGRATION 2018 has chosen the best!
ProINTEGRATION award is the highest national recognition in 16 professional categories including system integration, audio and video. The winners were announced on October 24 at Integrated Systems Russia exhibition. The 9th ceremony awarded the most outstanding projects implemented in Russia and CIS countries.

Nomination: Best solution implemented in the regions of Russia and CIS countries
Winner: "Sacred Kazakhstan" project: digital copies of historical monuments within the framework of cultural heritage conservation program.
This is one of the largest project on creation of digital copies of cultural monuments in the world. The "Sacred Kazakhstan" project was implemented on instructions from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. It features 135 historical and cultural monuments of Kazakh culture that are going to be digitized within the project. Photorealistic digital copies of 12 historical objects (including the majestic Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site) were delivered in 2018. They can be implemented in different display systems (virtual reality headsets, video walls) and are also available on web based sources. Our partner “LANIT-Integration” was chosen as the contractor of the cultural heritage conservation program. The company provided us full support during the expedition, even in the desert! Together our teams got through severe living conditions, sand storms and extreme temperatures of more than +50°. Creating digital copies of a culturally significant objects is the only way to preserve historical heritage forever. This way now everyone can explore the sacred monuments located in the most remote areas of Kazakhstan.

Winner: “Primorsky aquarium” in Vladivostok, Russky Island
The central building is constructed in the form of a shell; it consists of several parts with a total area of 37,000 square meters. Variety of multimedia solutions inside of it is just amazing. Great attention is paid to create the illusion of being in real places, inaccessible and unknown to most people.
United 3D Labs, commissioned by “Viatek” company, developed several installations for Primorsky Aquarium:
- Interactive holographic pyramids on single-cell and multicellular organisms;
- Animated film about the origin of life on the Earth for a fog screen;
- Large interactive floor with accurately and realistically reproduced inhabitants of the ocean.
Congratulations to the “Viatek” group on winning the national award; we are very grateful for this great experience of developing such scientifically complex installations.
