Virtual Reality for Transneft Company Exhibition Booth

Transneft is the largest company in the fuel and energy complex that actively introduces innovative technologies that form the image of the Russian economy of the XXI century. That is why the company invited the specialists of United 3D Labs to collaborate on the project: create and implement a new multimedia solution, as working together has already been a great experience for us and resulted into an interactive presentation for touch screen eKiosks of Transneft for Moscow International Oil and Gas Exhibition.

If the previous presentation was limited by the touch screen of a kiosk, this time, our new interactive presentation has gone beyond that straight to virtual reality.

For the exhibition stand, United 3D Labs has created a three-dimensional oil loading station, one of Transneft ports, realistically visualized in virtual reality. It gives the viewers an opportunity to take a journey into Transneft's achievements. Unconventional presentation materials proved to be effective during the exhibition; they also emphasized the innovative nature of Transneft's activities.

The presentation is made with a game engine and is presented in the form of an interactive 3D game, which was demonstrated on a video wall. Bright, visually attractive graphic solution appealed to a considerable amount of visitors. Virtual reality management was implemented in an intuitive user-friendly way, so anyone could take part in the inspection of the virtual oil port. The presentation was gesture controlled, which was accessed with the help of the Asus XtionPRO sensor.

Participants and guests of the exposition had the opportunity to walk through the virtual station from the helipad to the pier, admire the perfection of technological structures, the exquisite labyrinth of pipelines and the surrounding picturesque landscape. Moreover, they simultaneously acquainted with the exhibits of the virtual exhibition and got general information about Transneft.
